Events at Pearl’s

Literary Events

Pearl’s Books hosts reading and writing events that highlight the talents of our vibrant community and bring people together. Beginning in May 2023, Pearl’s is designing our events to pair two or more authors to grow local audiences and make community connection richer. Local authors and writers can contact Pearl’s with requests to be part of our events schedule.

We generally plan events at least one month in advance.

If you’re a local writer, please email us at events@pearlsbooks.com with your name and a brief description of your work. We organize event requests at the beginning of each month.

Fundraising Events

We host fundraising events in-store. For these events, we designate 10% of sales on a particular day to be donated to your fundraiser or organization.

We offer this only on weekdays, and we reserve these events for education-based organization, or organizations that are personally meaningful to Pearl’s staff. For more information, email us at events@pearlsbooks.com.

Book Fairs

We can provide a special collection of books for your school’s book fair. We work with individual schools (daycares through high school) to curate a wide variety of genres and price points. Pearl’s donates 10% of all book fair sales back to the school library. Email us at events@pearlsbooks.com to learn more.

Private Events

Unfortunately we no longer rent Pearl’s for private events. We are thankfully busy enough with our own programming that we simply no longer have the bandwidth. We appreciate your understanding!

Please know that if you already have an event planned with us, we will absolutely respect that current reservation.
