Writers Night

  • Pearl's Books 28 East Center Street Fayetteville, AR, 72701 United States (map)

Pearl’s Books will host a Writers Night on the second Tuesday of every month, with the first event taking place on Tuesday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m. Writers in the Northwest Arkansas area are welcome to come to meet other writers and share encouragement and resources.

“We’ve hosted book signings and readings in our store, but the Writers Night will provide space for local writers to meet and learn from one another,” said Daniel Jordan, co-owner of Pearls’ Books.

Writers at the inaugural event will be given an opportunity to provide feedback about resources for writers they think could be helpful in the Northwest Arkansas area.

“We have a tremendous amount of talent in Northwest Arkansas, and we want to make our Writers Night as helpful as it can be,” said Pearl’s Books co-owner Leah Jordan. “We also want to develop additional programming and collaborate with organizations to support local writers.”

For those unable to attend the first event, Pearl’s welcomes all area writers to complete an online survey which may be found at http://bit.ly/NWAWritersResourcesSurvey.

Located at 28 E. Center Street in downtown Fayetteville, Pearl’s Books provides an intimate space for many different types of events, including book launches, signings, readings, book clubs and other events. More information about booking an event at Pearl’s may be found online at https://www.pearlsbooks.com/events.
