We'll be doing a real-time reading of Deborah Harkness's A Discovery of Witches! This book (and now TV show) has a cult-following, and we're so excited to be taking part of this larger community!

What is a real-time reading?
According to Deborah Harkness's website: "A real-time reading is what happens when we read the relevant chapter(s) of a book on the day or days on which the action in that chapter occurs. "

What are the dates this reading will be taking place?
"In the case of ADOW, all the action in the book takes place between 18 September and 31 October."

How will this work:
The calendar is posted on this event page and Instagram. We'll also post each week's reading the weekend prior to when the reading is to be done. The reading dates are listed in a Monday-Sunday format

Will we discuss the book after the reading is over?:
Yes! We'll be meeting at Pearl's Books on Friday, November 3 at 6:15 p.m. to chat about the book! This is completely optional, but a fun way to meet new folks.
